The Desk Behind This Casino Dene Guide

This independent guide follows Casino Dene through the year, from short winter light to long summer evenings. It is signed by the Two Seasons desk, which takes no bets and is not the casino.

Generated scene, no people

The desk behind the pages

The Two Seasons desk writes and signs every page here. No single author is named, and no character speaks for the site. The guide stands apart from the venue it describes. It is not Casino Dene, not Cold Lake First Nations, not Hotel Dene and not AGLC.

No bets can be placed through these pages. Questions about the floor, the hours or a booking belong with the casino and the hotel themselves.

Sources, distances and daylight

Every fact in this guide was checked in October against Casino Dene's own pages, hoteldene.com, AGLC, the Alberta iGaming Corporation and the provincial help services. Distances are measured between OpenStreetMap points, in a straight line: 12.1 km to Cold Lake, 231.3 km to Edmonton. Roads are longer, and no drive times appear anywhere on the site.

Daylight is computed from the casino's coordinates for the 21st of each month. By that calculation, December gets 7 h 18 min and June 17 h 13 min. The casino publishes none of these numbers. Some things are left out on purpose: weather, road conditions, prices and event dates.

Paid links, marked Ad

Paid links appear on the home page alone, each one marked Ad. There are three: a button in the menu, a block below the first screen and a block near the end. All of them lead to one private online casino partner that pays the guide a commission. The partner is not named here and can change. No vouching comes with the link; readers can check any site in the AiGC directory at abigaming.ca.

Scenes made for the site

Every picture on the site is a generated scene, made for this guide with an image generator. None shows a person or a sign. None is a photograph of Casino Dene or of Hotel Dene across the parking lot.

No accounts, no forms

The site runs no accounts, no forms and no ad trackers. Two choices are remembered: light or dark, and the season switch. Both are kept only for the open browser tab, and nowhere else.
